"Tommy" is based on the characteristics of thick cell frames that were mainly manufactured in Germany from around the 1950s.

The straight cut and design of the front shape toward the lens gives a three-dimensional impression, and the extravagant width allows the temples, which do not use metal cores on the inside, to wrap around the temples, creating a clever vintage detail.
